A rhythm game in which players can play popular arrangements of Touhou Project songs. A rebuild of "Touhou Danmaku Kagura" as a stand-alone version with a completely new storyline.

Although its story may not be its strongest suit, the potential for improvement is evident, especially with the promise of more DLC on the horizon. Here's hoping for additional story content in the future.

The introduction of the free mode is a game-changer, granting players access to a plethora of unlocked or downloaded songs from the campaign. Just be sure to get ready for endless hours of rhythmic enjoyment as you fine-tune your skills and groove to your favorite tunes.

The “remix” of the game, titled Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost will have a new control scheme dedicated to controllers, keyboards and mouse and a new story mode that is exclusive to PC. The official release date is not announced yet, but we do have the timeline, which is 2023.

With enjoyable gameplay and upcoming free DLC featuring new music tracks, there's plenty of content to enjoy. However, if Touhou Danmaku Kagura rhythm games aren't your cup of tea, this title will not change your mind.

long time Rhythm game player and primarily DJMAX player here. Is it me or does it feel like the release on held notes seems a bit punishing? Coming from other games where you are not just supposed to fully hold through the note but also let go right at the end of them, I often seem to drop combo because I do exactly that.

Despite my initial excitement over the game's storytelling and world-building, I soon discovered that perhaps I should have chosen a different entry point into the franchise.

-Adjusted thickness of fog / poison fog display when the player has a Mitama card that is resistant to those status

- Pelo way to preview/test your sync offset aside from manually playing, and you don't really get any units of measurement to work with like frames or milliseconds, just "number feel good" vs "number feel bad".
